Matrix Pack Announces New EVP North America and Global Corporate Strategy Director

Matrix Pack S.A., a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of fiber-based and sustainable packaging solutions, has appointed Josh Oleson as EVP North America and Global Corporate Strategy Director.  In this role, Josh will lead the commercial growth efforts for the North America region, partnering with key customers and eco-system partners to unlock value for brands through Matrix-Pack’s engineered fiber-based packaging solutions.  Josh will also partner with the executive management team on Corporate Strategy as Matrix Pack continues to expand its presence in the global packaging market through innovation, M&A, and strategic investments.

Josh has spent more than two decades in the packaging industry.  He is the founder of NextWave Advisory, an independent consulting firm focused on the packaging value chain. Prior to starting NextWave, he spent nearly 20 years in various domestic and international roles at the HAVI Group of companies, primarily leading innovation, sustainability, and packaging supply chain functions. Most recently, he led the Packaging Supply Chain for tms (HAVI), where his team was responsible for the design, development, sourcing, and ongoing category and supply management of the packaging portfolio for one of the world's largest foodservice companies.

Joshua holds a degree from Michigan State University's School of Packaging and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
